I've been using this software for over 5 years and haven't had any

"Wow it's fast!"
of all the apps i've tried so far, this was by far the quickest. really
easy to use. quality was really good too. I havent any problems with
this yet but having said that, i've only used it to convert avi's to
dvd, nothing with subtitles etc or anything. If you have a lot of avi's
to convert, then this is it. i've tied many now and this was really
quick with quality maintained also.

"It works as advertised."
Actually you CAN convert vid files w/ subtitles. All you need do is
have the vid file & the .srt/.sub file in the same folder that you
are converting from. Of all the "All-in-One" converters out there,I
still end up always coming back to DVDSanta. It is very easy to use,
and the results are most always very watchable & it is fairly fast
doing the conversion process. I wish it had a few quality tweak options
for the user to have, but overall it works as advertised

This program rocks.... one stop solution to convert all avis to dvd.
You can set the resolution, frame rate and aspect ratio. It also
shrinks the encoded vobs to fit a dvd-r 4.7GB. It also has a built in
burning program...Overall, a must have if you convert lots of avi
files.

Fantastic tool for converting xvid or divx to dvd very easily.Geez even
my mom could use this its so simple to use,I was well impressed with
this and also the fact that it auto inserts chapters every three
minutes for me.
The authors of this deserve great success with this product.

I am writing to thank you for something you probably don't even know you've done. You've created a program that will
convert RealMedia files fast! In the last 6 or 7 years, I've tried to find a program that will do this, and have found
that all of them take 2 to 3 hours to convert a 30 min rm video.
Yours does 100 min in 20! I can then convert the created DVD back to AVI or VCD in about 15 min with TMPG Encode Express.

Very good alternative to other programs.I used avi2dvd before, and
tmpeg, but now i use dvdsanta because it delivers a decent product. And
VERY easy. 5 clicks and you are started.

" this is one hell of a program."
I have nothing bad to say of this tool. It is one of the only tools
that I have been able to find that will easily convert my 5.1 DIVX or
XVID (.avi) files to DVD carrying the 5.1 DD over with it. Word to the
wise though; I found this out the hard way and got quite frustrated in
doing so. this is one hell of a program.

"Easy to use"
Very easy to use especially if you want to do a Pal-to-NTSC or NTSC-to-Pal DVD conversion.
A couple quick settings and let it run. It does take a while to recode but worked great. I did a 2 hour movie
(My Name Is Nobody-1973)and it took about 9 hours on a 2 Gig P4 system.

Fabulous program if you want burned in subtitles. Make sure its a srt
file, the same name as the movie and in the same folder. DVDSanta will
automatically make a file with the subtitles.
Very useful as well if you have a movie split over two avi files. Drag
and drop and press a button and finished. It even keeps 5.1 surround
sound intact. Not really fast but the quality is very good if not
excellent.
O yes and it burns the DVD or CD for you too.

Woked with complicated vidio files including subtitles and converted for
me without a hitch. Other sites generaly rate very well. Highly
recommended for the neophite who wants to use video files without
spending a lot of time learning about what they are dealing with. It
does it for you with no learning curve.
